Brand and Marketing leads the University’s brand, marketing and communications requirements to deliver the University’s strategic objectives. We champion the ECU brand, enhance ECU’s reputation and drive student attraction through activities such as advertising, promotions, sponsorships, digital marketing, public relations, social media and corporate events. Specifically, the Brand, Marketing and Creative Services team provides specialist capability across the areas of marketing, design, content creation and sponsorships.

The Role
We are looking for a highly skilled videographer and photographer to join our Brand, Marketing and Creative Services team. A dynamic individual that can deliver modern and engaging marketing media that engages with our audiences. Reporting to the Creative Services Adviser, you will be responsible for producing informational and promotional videos and photographs for use in student recruitment. The focus of the role is on developing video content.

Key Criteria

The successful candidate will have:
Considerable experience and ability to plan and project manage (concept, storyboard and logistics), shoot, edit (footage and sound files) and export high-quality video packages, still photography within tight timeframes, with a particular focus on creation of digital social media videos (e.g. Instagram reels, TikTok, Facebook videos);

Proficiency in the use of video and photographic editing applications (such as Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop) and other necessary software for video development in a Mac environment; proficiency working with a variety of cameras such as DSLRs;

Knowledge of lighting and audio recording on-location and in-studio settings;

A strong customer focus in identifying customer needs and translating that into a creative output

Benefits & Remuneration
This part-time (40%), fixed-term position attracts remuneration of $85,551 to $92,301 per annum (pro-rata for part-time appointments) plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
